It has been a long time since I went to a countdown party. I wanted my 2014 to end with a blast & decided to purchase $28 ticket to SG50 Countdown Party. The largest countdown party in town!
Turned up with some of my favourite people at Marina Bay Floating Platform. Part of the reason was the appearance of BigBang which tempted me to go.
I arrived later than Sam's family while they already queued since 6pm & little hiccups happened before we entered the platform. Perhaps that's my last embarrassing moment in 2014, when I frantically locating Entrance A & leaped over the barrier for shortcut access. Still, thanks to Zx & Sam for helping me over else I would have stuck in the human jam.
We were seated around 8pm & seats nearer to center stage were mostly occupied.

The countdown party went live telecast on 9.30pm.
Kit Chan & Dick Lee sang 'Home', national day themed song back in 2008, all Singaporean sing-along, except for foreigners. :/

Everyone stood up, cameras all standby, ready for the countdown & blasts of the magnificent firework which lasts for 8 mins.
After the fireworks, here comes the most anticipated performers of the night - BIGBANG!
Climax reached the peak & loud cheers when they appeared on stage.
The audience went head over heels for them.
Beautiful LED lights glowed from the RFID wristband which flickered along with music beats while some wore LED-crown headband.

Audience slowly dispersed around 130am when the party ended.
While waiting for Lee to walk over from her $68 seats, I supposed she had a great view there.
She's so near to the stage, so close to BigBang.

Me have not been to one before & now feeling too old to party.
