Jing Wen's 25th Birthday

On 15 Jan'15, Jwen is the first in our clique to turn 25th.
To my horror, time is really catching up & we age rapidly.
 Counting on to our friendship, we've knew for a long 12 years since secondary school days.
This year, we've increase our birthday budget to $100 / pax.

Birthday girl collects Lego miniature figurines, so Cyn & Sam suggested to customize a Lego cake for her.
Lego cake was ordered from a colleague of mine, which previously she has done birthday cakes for my boyfriend too.

Lego cake details:

- Full fondant for lego cake block & base

- Chocolate Banana flavoured - Nutella with Bananas layered cream cake

 'Happy Birthday' candles & Lego man sitting on it, the cake looks fascinated.

Requested her to provide us wish list, so that we can work around our budget & get something that the birthday girl like or put into practical use.

We bought her Bottega Veneta leather bracelet.

Jwen decided to dine at Skinny Pizza @ Westgate. 

We over-ordered yet again  - 2 pizzas & 7 mains.

Chicken Satay

After the heavy meal, left Meryl & me remained on our seats while the rest left to prepare the cake.

The 7 of us finished up whole cake except for the fondant which was too hard & thick to be consumed.

Jwen was caught by surprised.

She didn't expect a customization cake & we topped it off with Lego collectibles. 

One stone kill two bird, got surprised & favourite Lego man.

The toppled candle caused a burnt mark on the fondant & tried to cover the burnt spot with a lego brick

Zx picked a Lego head & ate from there

So next time we'll recall that this is our 25 y/o celebration.

Now i realized, I'm often the one who sing the loudest for birthday song.

A simple celebration to end the nite.
