Gift Exchange w Sweets

It's the season of joy & giving! Yearly affair gift exchange with my Sweets clique.

We input our Secret Santa wish list using draw names generator & set the budget of min. $35 for Secret Santa & $10 for individual gifts.

8 Korean BBQ for our X'mas dinner.
Their signature dish is their 8 flavored pork.

We ordered 4 sets in Original, Garlic, Smoked & Red Pepper Paste & beef fillet.
The set comes with free flow kimchi & bean sprouts, topped up additional $6 from Seafood Bean Paste Stew to Army Stew.

Staff helped to cook the poultry & shared the background of their pork.

We did our gift exchange at Ya Kun Toast.

Thank you JW, my secret santa this year.
Appreciate all the gifts received.
I hope for a full attendance next year, with Meryl's comeback & Lee would spend more time with us.

Sidetrack to gift exchange at work, OAS Division.
40+ of us gathered for X'mas buffet lunch along with gift exchange.
Mum's Kitchen was catered for the lunch, I must say the food portion isn't enough to feed all of us.
Food wasn't good either.
Min. $10 budget was set for this exchange.
Apparently, some people might have some cheat ways in getting gifts.
Re-gift, items lower than value of $10, price tag was not removed.

I must rant here because the item I've received was not tally to the packaging.
What I meant was that the item was actually a scarf but packed in a towel box (brand Uchino).
When I teared the wrapper *rolled eyes to the moon & back*
The box was kinda stained & scarf was full of creases.
I can use it as floor rug ok, so disgusted by the gift!
Next, my colleague received a Capt America soft toy which looks like it's from those catcher machine.
Another colleague received a bowl but with price tag labelled underneath.
Another colleague received a M'sia food product, a coconut biscuit. It doesn't looks $10 to me, or maybe RM10 can buy this food uh.
You tell me crap or not la!
Insincere people give rubbish.

Xx, Kelly
